Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie- 2022-05-06

Location: Cabo Pearce

Weather: Clear Skies, NW Wind (10-12kts), Swell (5-6ft)

Yesterday we made one more dive at Punta Tosca, was really calm only some mantas, but at least half of the guests were happy with the two first dives, they decided to stay in the boat and have some rest for the silky snorkel. We anchored at Cabo Pearce at 18:00 and we had the silky snorkel at 20:15. Mostly the action was mellow with about six-eight sharks in the area. In the end, silky started chasing some flying fish and we took all the divers off the water, they were happy with the snorkeling.

Now we have good weather conditions, calm in the bay, we just had two dives, the first dive was a little bit calm but still good, all the groups saw two mantas, and only one of them saw three hammerheads, dolphins around the area, divers could hear them but unfortunately could not see them. The second dive improved a lot, with four mantas, eight hammerheads and one of the divers in his last minutes saw a school of 40 hammerheads, he was very excited about that, still light current to the north and it is sunny now, we plan to do two more dives and then have the cheese and wine to start sailing to Cabo San Lucas.

Visibility: 50ft
