Today I got the chance to take Karol and John to do a discover scuba diving. They did their first tank and skills yesterday with Ronald and today I took them for a fun dive. They are natural divers! We took some time to get down and clear their ears but after that everything was incredible fun! They enjoyed the good visibility and warm water of Las Animas Island. We dove into the shallow reef next to the sea lion colony where we could swim and interact with some sea lions and got to see very close the big males. We also found triggerfish nests being attacked by wrasses and barber fish. It was a very fun and safe dive and I am very sure they will come in the future to dive with us again in Socorro or another Sea of Cortez trip!
