Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-08-04

Location: Enroute to San José Island

Weather: Clear Skies, E Wind (3-5kts), SE Swell (1ft)

Yesterday we finished the day in Las Animas before the night dive a lot of dolphins were swimming to the N of the Island very close to us, we took the skiff and our guests and we went directly to snorkel with them, this was fantastic with a lot of dolphins if I would say a number it will be more than 500 dolphins. Our guests were so happy about it, after the dolphin’s action we did a beautiful night dive in las Animas bay and once we finished we picked up the anchor and we started our way to San Jose Island.

Today we started the day doing a kayak expedition in the Estero de San Jose this was a beautiful activity early morning with the fresh breeze coming from the N but not all our guests wanted to go just 4 of them took the expedition, and the others guests stayed here onboard resting until the 1st dive which we did in la concha islote, beautiful dive, the visibility was amazing, now we are going to do another dive in la Lobera and if is too good we are going to spend another one here.
