Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-08-18

Location: Las Animas

Weather: Clear Skies, E Wind (4-5kts), SE Long Swell (0-1ft)

Today we started the day with our first dive outside of the sea lions colony bay, the dive was awesome, the sea lions were very friendly, and there were a lot of reef fish around, angel fish, parrot fish, and trigger.

Las Animas is full of marine, the conditions are awesome, the visibility is great, and there was not current, we had the plane flying around unfortunately our guests were diving while the plane was flying, we are going to finish the day here in Las Animas, our guests are very excited with the sea lions and the beautiful marine life which is around, after the night dive we are going to pick up the anchor and we are going to sail directly to San Jose Island.
