Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady- 2022-09-10

Location: Las Animas

Weather: Clear Skies, NW Light Breeze, Swell (0-1ft)

Two dives are done so far and both are very good. Some playful sea lions around, some big schools of fish, and one group saw the hammerheads on the second dive. DM Sebastian counted around 50 hammerheads. After dive 2 we went offshore about a mile and found a huge pod of bottlenose dolphins and everyone spent around 20 minutes snorkeling with them before we headed back for lunch. So, having a great day here so far.

Planning two more dives this afternoon here then we’ll head down to Espiritu Santo where we have a date with 2 BEX pangas tomorrow morning at Los Islotes.

Water temperature: 79°F

Visibility: 50ft
