Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2023-04-18

Hello everybody,
The sky is clear, the wind blowing south 8-9knots with a south swell 1-2ft. air temp:28C, water temp:21C. Visibility 3meters

NGL is sailing up the Cerralvo channel. This morning we started in front of la Ventana expecting mobulas, but very few were around. We did find a big pod of bottlenose dolphins and the guests were able to observe them during various jumps in the water. They were jumping like crazy in the wake of the NGL. After that, we encountered a mother and a calf humpback whale. They were very calm at the surface and allowed for a long whale-watching experience from the RHIB. We will now head towards El Saltito for a check-up dive.
