Plenty of Sharks at Roca Partida

Day 2 of our trip sees the Belle Amie arrive at Roca Partida, an imposing rocky pinnacle projecting up from the blue Pacific waves. It is a fairly small site with a wide range of wildlife; we saw plenty of sharks (predominantly white tip reef sharks, with the occasional silver tip and silky thrown in for some variety), plus school of bonitos, jacks and tuna schooling around us in abundance. But the undisputed highlight was the unexpected visits paid by the local dolphins, announcing their arrival with clicks and whistles before circling around and amongst our group of divers, playful and enchanting. I don´t imagine that any of today’s guests will ever forget these encounters.
