“What a spectacular day! This was our first day getting in the water on our Mag Bay and Socorro combo trip. On our first drop we saw at least a dozen blue striped marlin. Our second drop, we saw marlin, dolphins and a humpback whale! Our last drop, we were treated to a static bait ball – a long show of sea lions, silkies, marlin, silkies, wahoo hunting. It felt weird getting out of the water while the show was still going, but we had gotten our fill. We ended the day with a beautiful sunset with a green flash. My heart feels very full seeing all of this incredible beauty and enjoying it with friends! This trip we reunited with our German friends whom we met two years ago on this same boat, the Belle Amie. We were in the same dive group and had the best time, we had to do it again!”

“I was a bit nervous, thinking ‘is it cold? What do I bring, what mil is everyone wearing?’ Diving, I’m used to diving, but pelagic snorkelling is a bit out of my wheelhouse. My heart was really pumping when the captain yelled ‘Go, Go, Go!’ I was thinking, what… now? And then, like magic–right in the middle of my own personal National Geographic movie. I wasn’t cold! If you like to see apex predators in action, it was fucking amazing, best day ever.”
