“Today was absolutely ridiculous in the best way. First of all, I can’t write anything further before sharing with you, Dear Reader, that the male crew is absurdly handsome and equally as kind and helpful. I mean EASY on the eyes. Okay, okay, let’s talk about what’s happening underwater. I honestly thought after multiple opportunities to watch a fever of mobulas, gliding along like flying tortillas, and then literally thousands of dolphins performing high speed acrobatics, that it couldn’t get any better. But the ocean was about to show us the most unhinged scene…
We could see the surface just boiling with fish and the splashing of their assorted predators. We dropped in to see a big bait ball with such frenzied action it felt like front-row seats to a marine mosh pit. Marlins slicing through, sea lions swirling and feasting, and frantic bonita erupting like a true fish volcano. Everywhere you looked, something was leaping, lunging or trying to eat something else, all to the soundtrack of us humans laughing and screaming through our snorkels. It was total mayhem. 10/10 day aboard the Nautilus Belle Amie.”

“The two and a half days in Magdalena Bay on the Belle Amie was amazing. Boiling tornados of sardines getting hunted by sea lions, marlins, and bonitas. Thousands of dolphins crossing the entire horizon. Several whales came quite close. Just when we thought it was amazing it got even better! On my birthday, the crew did a surprise shark and manta dance with a delicious cake. Thank you Captain Oscar and crew for a fantastic trip!”
