“This is our second trip with Nautilus Dive Adventures and we just can’t imagine trusting our diving with anyone else. Socorro is absolutely mind blowing! It’s only day 3 and we have seen everything we came to see, plus a bonus of 200-300 schooling hammerheads!!! If you are a pelagic fanatic this is the trip to take!”

“Our journey to Socorro began like many other standard liveaboards: pack lists, plane tickets, and passports. However, in a short few days, the magic of these islands has proven to be anything but the ordinary liveaboard experience. On our first dive, we explored the cleaning station at El Caron. Three scalloped hammerheads materialized from the blue and circled our heads. At the cleaning station itself, our first oceanic manta flew over our heads surrounded by colorful fish. Spirits were high but little did we know that pelagic encounters like these were common place in these Mexican islands – each one more exciting than the next.
The Belle Amie is the ideal base for these explorations. The crew have gone above and beyond to accommodate the guests. Whether it be hot apple cider on our return, or freshly changed sheets every morning! In diving the Boiler, we became even more acquainted with the giant oceanic mantas of the Socorro Islands.”
