Everyone was curious to see the split rock, aka Roca Partida, somewhere out in the Pacific ocean miles and miles away from any other piece of land. Below the water the rock is also exposed to quit some current that attracts a lot of marine life. The amount of white-tipped reef sharks and different type of Jacks swimming at different levels up and down the rock flashed us all. On all four dives we could hear the singing and communication of the Humpback Whales.

I had a great experience diving with the nautilus undersea. The diving sites are stunning above and underwater. It was my first encounter with oceanic mantas in the blue and I was totally mesmerized by it. The crew of the Nautilus made us feel very well taken care of. A particular mention to the incredibly kind attentiveness of Osa and the amazing food of Poncho, the best I have had on a liveaboard so far.

my son who is not a scuba diver has had the opportunity to go freediving and snorkeling in this amazing national park always being under the protection of at least one Divemaster. And when he lost his gopro with the housing in front of the boat the Captain sent the divemasters searching for it. Therefore let me express all my gratitude to Captain Lowell for taking care of the both of us in such a lovely way!

First dive, day one–Tiger Shark. We had mantas trailing us on almost every single dive and saw more than a few hammerheads surprising us under our feet or appearing out of the blue and wiggling away just as mysteriously. Above board and between dives we were fueled a variety of foods to keep us very full and very spoiled. All in all…do we really have to return to land?

When I first plan the trip, I thought its gonna be another good regular diving trip but it turns out to be the best diving trip I had in my life. It is not only because of the diving experiences, but the crew were amazing. They made me feels like home. I will always carry and cherish the 9 days memory forever.

Everything feels very effortless. It’s always a good sign when even on the first day you feel at home. Tons of laughter and smiles. Truly something to remember and reminisce in the days to come. The diving, simply magical…
