One of the groups could see on their safety stop a juvenile tiger shark very close to them. The last dive was also good with some big Galapagos sharks, a few blacktips, one chevron manta and one dolphin at the end of the dive.

Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie
The dives this morning were loaded with life, with many silvertip sharks, some Galapagos sharks, a few hammerhead sharks and lots of the usual reef fish. The highlight of today’s activities has been the HUMPBACK WHALES!

The first dive was great, we saw two black mantas and two chevron mantas, one silvertip, some Galapagos sharks, and around 15 dolphins hunting! It was a really good dive.

One group was able to view a school of hammerheads twice while the other groups saw more mantas. Throughout the dive, there were clicking sounds from a large pod of false killer whales just off the dive site.

Today we had a tremendous amount of big animals throughout each of our first two dives. Our first group of divers had a tiger shark come right up to them before it trickled off into the blue.
