On the second dive at The Canyon we had schooling hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks and silvertip sharks all sharing the cleaning station.

On the first dive, as soon as we dropped off the divers, a pod of dolphins were waiting for them. There were also many manta rays (possibly six different ones), oceanic blacktip sharks, silvertip sharks, few Galapagos sharks, silky sharks and plenty of reef fish.

Yesterday afternoon we didn’t have any luck finding the orcas but we did find a pod of bottlenose dolphins and all the guests were able to get some good in-water action with them. After that, a megapod of common dolphins showed up that were really fun to watch from the Gallant Lady and the RHIB.

During all three dives we had hammerhead sharks, silky sharks schooling, whitetip sharks, silvertip sharks mating, tuna hunting, wahoos around, very big lobsters and a chevron manta ray.

Yesterday afternoon we had an epic time with a big pod of false killer whales or as Sten likes to call them ‘pseudo orcas’. There were 50-60 in the Bay of La Paz split up into at least two pods and we spent pretty much all day following them.

Our divers encountered a school of hammerhead sharks, around two manta rays and some Galapagos sharks.

Our guests saw hammerhead sharks, big Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, whitetip sharks, silvertip sharks, tons of reef fish, two chevron manta rays and one of the groups got to see a pod of dolphins.
