Explorer – how many mantas was met? “lost count! dozens! and don’t forget the hammers!”

Today we’ve had 2 dives with a lot of fauna around the dive site: 5 mantas, a big school of hammer heads 150/200 individuals, 10/12 dolphins, 1 oceanic black tip, 1 tiger and 1 yellow fin.

The third group took the glory, with Great Manta interaction being interrupted by a curious Dolphin who came within feet of the group at about 4 M down, then rocketed up and preformed a full breach before shooting back down past the divers and away.

Under Sea: We drop the anchor this morning at 0600 hrs, 2 dives until now, dive masters reports Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, chevron mantas,turtles, lobsters and white tip sharks.

The highlight today was watching two mantas playing together or what seemed to be dancing ballet. During this dance the remoras from the chevron went and landed on top of the black manta then the chevron quickly vanished in the blue while the black manta had to deal with the remoras! What a show!

Guests seen some turtles, lots of nudis, schooling goat fish and butterfly fish, small school of jacks, and some big morays. Guests are enjoying the maiden voyage on the beautiful Gallant Lady.

Consistent Manta interaction, great visibility, and all the other life teeming in the “aquarium” made a memorable impression on all the divers.
