Location: Southwest of Cabo San Lucas en route from the Boiler, San Benedicto Island, Revillagigedos
Comments: Captain Dave reports that the ship is en route from San Benedicto Island to Cabo San Lucas in a fairly gentle headsea with 4 to 5ft seas. They had a great trip to the Revillagigedo Islands (Socorro Island), with lots of giant manta ray sightings and behaviour, some pretty darn good sharking (including our first-ever sighting of 100 plus schooling juvenile silvertip sharks) and good humpback whale behaviour. Dave tells us that the guests are currently relaxing after having had lunch, reading, packing away their gear and putting their images together with the help of our divemasters to put together our customary trip CD. ETA at Cabo San Lucas is 2100 (9 pm) and he expects that most folks will either go for a quiet walk around the waterfront of perhaps check out the wilder spring break nightlife of Cabo San Lucas.
Weather: High overcast, wind from the northwest 15 knots, seas 4 – 5 feet, air temperature 77°F
