Location: The Boiler divesite, San Benedicto Island, Socorro, Mexico
Spent the last dives of the trip at the Boiler divesite and finally got the giant mantas. And then some. Great interaction. Passing and passing and curiously approaching us and even following us back to the Nautilus Explorer so that we can continue to snorkel with them between dives. 2 black mantas and 1 chevron. As crew, we could finally breath out!!! It was a great trip, very sharky, lots of good sightings and so nice to be back at Socorro again. That’s what I like about the Revillagigedos, you never really know what you will see and that makes you want to go back over and over and over again. Divemaster Sten.
Weather: A beautiful sunny day with mostly calm seas.
Water: Water 80 degrees. Visibility 100 feet.
Where are the giant mantas?? They are at San Benedicto!!
