The best of our crossing from Cabo was last as we had hundreds of dolphins riding and jumping off the bow as they escorted us almost the last 15 miles to our destination of San Benedicto. This island is the scene of the most recent visible volcanic activity with a major eruption in 1952 followed by a much smaller event in 1953 which basically helped to form some of the underwater features we dive now. After our 22 hour crossing we arrive to the south end of the island to start our diving for this trip.
