2nd trip to Socorro after 10 years on the Nautilus Belle Amie (1st was on the Nautilus Explorer) . Happy to tell that fish life has come back and that illegal fishing has mainly stopped. Much more Mantas, Sharks. It’s a pleasure to see once in my 32 years diving career great improvement under the sea. The crew also was very helpful and always in good mood. Nowadays one of the top destinations for pelagic fish. I’m so happy to have seen lot of juvenile Silver Tipped Sharks and like 4 times more Mantas than in my first trip to the Islands. Certainly also the positive effect of the Islands being UNESCO World Heritage site since 2016
