We had a fantastic first day of diving at the canyon by San Benedicto Island. The water was very clear and at the cleaning station we were constantly surrounded by sharks! A family of 12 silvertips were circling the area and about 15 large Galapagos sharks were joining the group and cruising the area. But for many of our guests the highlight of the day was the schooling hammerheads. There was a group of at least 20 and we saw them swim by close at least three times! What a treat!! We’re all very excited to see what the next days have in store for us!
