This was my first time diving on Socorro Island and an experience I will never forget. I love seeing large, pelagic marine animals. They can be so mesmerizing and this is particularly true with the giant manta rays who would come from all directions and ‘put on a show’ for us.
I am also a fan of sharks and their existence in this area is so plentiful you won’t believe it. The schooling of smaller fish is also incredible. Today we even heard whales during a couple dives which was awesome. Our boat is beautiful and the crew is very attentive, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. This trip is an experience of a lifetime.
