All of our Socorro dive trips start off with a checkout dive. Some of our guests maybe have been out of the water for some time and need to refresh their skills or others may have a new piece of equipment they want to try out. Regardless of the situation, our guides pick a site suitable for an introduction to the island’s unique dive environments. Just because it is a check-out dive doesn’t mean we don’t see loads of cool life.
Yesterday, at the dive site Fondeadero, our divers had interactions with not one, but three giant mantas, the stars of our dive expeditions. The water was 27°C and with just enough current to bring the big pelagic creatures we hope to see. So no matter your situation, we make sure to get you comfortable in the water on day one. Then you can enjoy all the sites that the Revillagigedo Islands have to offer with much more confidence. I hope to see you here soon.
