Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2021-11-29

Location: San Benedicto

Weather: Clear Skies, NE Wind (5-10kts), W Swell (3-4ft)

We arrived at San Benedicto at 0030 last night, anchored near the Canyon, and did our first dive at manta rock and out to the canyon. Some hammerheads were around, as well as silver-tips, Galapagos, and a small pod of dolphins cruised by one group just at the end.

Since we only have 3 days of diving here we headed for the Boiler right after dive 1. Southern Sport and Cassiopeia are also here but we worked out our dive times so we are getting our 3 dives at the Boiler. The first dive here was excellent, with lots of playful mantas and a couple of dolphins as well. Guests were very excited. Guests are out on dive 3 right now.

Planning taco night and head to Cabo Pearce afterward tonight.

Water temperature: 78°F

Visibility: 80ft+
