Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea – 2021-12-11

Location: The Canyon

Weather: Clear Skies, NW Wind (16kts)

Today we are at the canyon, we did Fondeadero first then canyon on the second one, our intention is to do the next two in the canyon as the second dive was really nice for the guests, they saw schooling hammerheads, lots of Galapagos sharks, and the cleaning station was full with silvertip sharks, lots of other fish including snappers, angelfish, an octopus, trevally jacks, horse eyed jacks, couple of playful mantas.

We were supposed to do boiler today but the wind and waves out there are wild, at the moment in the canyon wind is 12Kts NW with gusts up to 16kts.

Today in the two-morning dives there was no current, with great visibility, a couple of the guests came out saying BEST DIVE OF MY LIFE.

Water temperature: 78°F

Visibility: 80ft+
