Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2021-12-23

Location: Fondeadero

Weather: Clear Skies, W Light Breeze, Calm Seas.

The first dive we start from the stern, one by one the divers jumped to the water, we have one group with not experienced divers so we are taking it easy, but what a start. As soon as the first group was in the water one of the guests (all of them still on the surface) start to ask if the shark below them was a tiger shark, all of us was thinking that he was joking or the shark that he was seen was a big silky or Galapagos but then the divemaster took a look and what a surprise, it was a big tiger shark below to the boat.

We saw one hammerhead two mantas some Galapagos and silkies. In the second dive, we used the skiffs, we got to see three hammerheads and three mantas on this dive some Silvertips, and Galapagos on the cleaning station.

Water temperature: 80°F

Visibility: 80ft+
