Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-01-11

Location: Punta Tosca

Weather: Clouded Skies, Light N Wind, NW Swell (3-5ft)

Yesterday we finished the day at the Roca Partida, we could dive with a lot of bonitas fish, one huge tuna, and some Galapagos sharks. After the dive, we decided to go directly to Punta Tosca.

Today Punta Toscas has been amazing, the first dive was unforgettable, around four black mantas and two chevrons, many silver tips and silky sharks in the area, visibility around 90 ft, and light current. For the 2nd one the mantas stayed with us and finally a school of hammerheads was there we were able to dive with them, diving conditions same as the first one just the current increase a little bit.

Water temperature: 79°F

Visibility: 70-90ft
