Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea – 2022-02-22

Location: The Boiler

Weather: Clear Skies, NW Wind (14kts), Swell (5ft)

We are sailing to the canyon, just dove boiler twice, the weather worsens with time, and guests are asking for easier seas. I was driving the first dive and as soon as I pulled away from the boat a tiger shark went by just two feet from the surface, then dolphins came to greet us, and as that was not enough humpback whales breached about half a mile from the boiler, the excitement was too much and diver just wanted to get in the water, luckily they saw most of it except for the whales, they say the tiger was huge, few mantas to play with, and the dolphins were everywhere.

Water temperature: 75°F

Visibility: 60ft
