My highlight of the trip was a dive at Socorro Island where after seeing a few hammerheads and being visited by a small school of dolphins we surfaced to our safety stop. During our 3 minutes, we were surrounded by a massive school of tuna fish. After having removed my tank and BCD, divemaster Annie suggested I take a quick snorkel tour around the tunas. I was immediately swarmed by a dozen tuna that sped past: I cannot stop thinking about the sunrays changing the colors of the tunas around me. Magical.
