Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-07-01

Location: Roca Partida

Weather: Overcast Skies, Calm Winds, S Light Swell

Yesterday we dive all day in San Benedicto punta Norte, diving there was amazing, lots of mantas feeding on the surface all around the boat, guests were snorkeling with theme between dives, really good show full of mantas, during dive 3 around 10 different mantas were there, also some Galapagos sharks, Silvertips, silky and whitetips.

Today we are in Roca Partida, medium current to the E, a lot of sea life around the Roca, big schools of jacks, yellowfin tunas, lots of whitetips, lobsters, octopus, people were super happy today, second dive same conditions, light current to the S. On this dive, guests could see one chevron manta, big schools of jacks and yellowfin tunas, schools of bonitos, lots of wahoos, a couple of hammerheads big Galapagos shark, some Silvertips, and white tips feeding. The plan is to stay 2 days and wait if the whale shark wants to appear.
