We are five days into our diving adventure along the beautiful peninsula of Baja California, we sailed more than 400nm along these beautiful shores where the desert meets the white sandy beaches and the water of the Sea of Cortez. Plenty of dive sites around the numerous islands of this area, where our divers have played with sea lions, and seen giant stingrays, a few guitarfish, nudibranchs, mobula rays, and plenty of reef fish.
Today they were delighted with a treat: a 3-hour snorkel with the gentle giants, the biggest fish in the ocean: the whale sharks of Bahia de Los Angeles! More than six different whale sharks were feeding around the panga and the divers were able to get some close encounters with these 20 to 30 feet long harmless and beautiful sharks, an unforgettable experience for all of them!
