During our morning dives, we were able to spot a couple of hammerhead sharks. Visibility was poor but still, some of our guests were able to see them. Later we had wonderful dives with playful sea lions and a big school of fish: yellow tail snappers, jacks, and triggerfish. We were just coming back from our third dive when we saw a spout of a whale only 100 meters away from the Explorer! In no time everyone was ready to jump on the skiffs and we followed a fin whale mom and calf for about 45 minutes having a wonderful whale-watching time!
Not only that, Burton did his very first scuba dive guided by divemaster Ronald!
Epic day!
