Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady- 2022-09-11

Location: Espíritu Santo

Weather: Clear Skies, N Light Wind, Swell (0-1ft)

Two dives were completed this morning at Los Islotes and guests enjoyed them very much with lots of young, playful sea lion pups surrounding the divers, also some big polarized schools of sardines, as well as snappers, groupers, and jawfish in the sand.

Now we are on our way south to do a dive on the Salvatierra and we’ll do our 4th dive on Swanee reef. Yesterday we finished a great day at Las Animas with taco night while we cruised south in flat calm seas and a beautiful red-tinged horizon as the sun went down.

Tonight we’ll head south to Frailes and two pangas from Pulmo are scheduled to take our guests out for 2-tank dives tomorrow morning. We’ll wrap up the trip with a couple of dives at Frailes tomorrow afternoon.

Water temperature: 79°F

Visibility: 50ft
