Great Morning Dive at Las Animas

First dive in the morning. Been up early to catch the ride into Las Animas, plus seeing the super blue moon with the light outlining the surround landscape and the water below. Just a beautiful sight. Dive brief complete, hint of possible sharks around now this is what I came here for. Manu our guide, first few minutes into the blue, hear this ding on the air tank, looking around and then there they are. My first introduction of Hammerheads. What a glory to see, the grace the beauty of something that been around millions of years and there it is. To quote Ferris Bueller Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop to look around once in while, you could miss it. Same for sharks, they slip in and out of view in seconds. Last few minutes in the dive, just returning from the blue, looking down, a school of hammerheads just below, 20 to 30 or more. It’s a great morning in Las Animas.
