On our first day of activities on this trip, we got to see and swim with a pod of common dolphins, sea lions, more than 12 different sea turtles, sting rays, school of different species of fish but the most amazing thing today was to see an oceanic manta.

Read MoreAfter the dives, we picked up anchor and when we were on our way to the next anchorage we spotted a big pod of bottlenose dolphins. What was amazing about this encounter was that there were just playing in one spot. We went over with the inflatables and we went snorkeling with them. This time the dolphins seemed to be pleased with the presence of the snorkelers and stayed around for more than an hour and a half. Swimming right next to us.

We dove into the shallow reef next to the sea lion colony where we could swim and interact with some sea lions and got to see very close the big males.
