Read MoreThe first day I saw three different kinds of sharks, and two types of mantas. The Mantas come so close they almost touch you. When they turned to look into your eyes with their own huge eye you can’t help but know you are meeting a very special animal. I cannot recommend the Belle Amie enough. The dives are fantastic. The boat and crew are above and beyond any service I have ever experienced.

Read MoreAmazing day on Nautilus Belle Amie diving with a school of scalloped hammerhead sharks. We dove into the blue and were surprised to see a school of over one hundred sharks. A few of the sharks even approached our group with curiosity. A fantastic way to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary.

One such cave has three or four very big lobsters that almost seemed to be guarding the sleeping sharks. We saw tons of different types of fish, and had a blast underwater.

Read MoreSecond dive on our first day diving on this trip was absolutely amazing – my first Hammerhead shark!! In fact, there were two! Many white tips resting in the sand. Lots of curious silver tips. A galapagos shark, very inquisitive. And the most beautiful black manta. She was so playful in our bubbles and loved looking at herself in the camera lenses. The eye contact with a manta is as true as everyone says – it was truly soul searching.

Read MoreLooked from 40’ to see a huge turtle swimming over us – pretty good way to start the first dive of the day! Then giant mantas – one swam right over my head. Super cool first time experience. Videos are incredible, but they don’t capture the reality of seeing it in person. Next – a small hammerhead, followed by a much larger one. I would have stayed and watched longer, but got excited and used my air…
