First Time on a Liveaboard, and Definitely the Trip of a Lifetime!

First time on a liveaboard, and definitely the trip of a lifetime! From the thoughtful and caring service of the crew to the clean and spacious boat, and of course the highlight of the trip – diving with all the amazing creatures, it was a trip to remember! As relatively less experienced divers, the divemasters were ready to accommodate and help out in whatever way they could to make the diving as safe and enjoyable as possible. Swimming with multiple species of sharks, and mantas, and being surrounded by fish in a bait ball were the highlights of the trip and experiences which I will always remember.

We Had Such a Jaws-Some Experience

This trip was a trip of a lifetime!!! We saw an endless supply of sharks, mantas, breaching whales, and even several dolphins. I’ve been around whales for quite some time, but I have never seen a breach, and we saw a mother-calf breach multiple times between our dives and even cruised by our skiff after one of the dive groups saw them underwater. We had such a JAWS-some experience.

I Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better First!

My first liveaboard ever and I couldn’t have asked for a better first! I must admit the diving was more challenging than what I am used to but with the help of the amazing dive masters onboard I was able to get through. We saw dolphins, oceanic mantas, hammerheads, massive lobsters, Silvertips, silky sharks, a whale shark, white tips, black tips – you name it and we saw it.

Revillagigedo and the Nautilus Crew Deliver Again!

It’s hard to single out highlights from the trip. Curious mantas were circling our group for what seemed like forever, playful dolphins swarming us and getting so close my wide-angle GoPro couldn’t keep up. A tiger shark at Canyon! Sure, there were dozens of Silvertips and some big Galapagos sharks, but when a tiger shows up, that’s all you can talk about. There’s no such thing as a quiet dive at Roca, but throw in a whale shark and a dozen dolphins and it’s hard to get out of the water.

Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-07-04

Today we are in Cabo25c to Pearce, excellent good dives, no current, lots of mantas and hammerheads, around four mantas were there playing with our divers, very friendly and playful. The dive site is full of hammerheads, hammers everywhere during all dives, some other sharks appear as well, like a few Galapagos and some silky. Second dive visibility improved, medium current to the S, more and more hammerheads action, one or two mantas very friendly on this dive, one group of divers could see a small pod of bottlenose dolphins with a very small baby, around eight dolphins was just for a couple of minutes, but the hammerheads stay around for all dive long, they were together and all the guests could see the hammerheads sharks everywhere.
