First dive of the day at Socorro Island at Cabo Pierce and our divemaster was Casey. Before we got to the drop zone we spotted dolphins in the distance.
We dropped in, and as soon as we got down, I spotted two near the surface. One came down and played with us for a couple minutes, my first dolphin encounter! It was quite an amazing experience as she kept making circles and coming back to me, I managed to shoot some video before she made one final pass and headed off into the distance.
This is our second to last day on the Belle Amie and it is my first live aboard. It has been an awesome experience, I can’t say enough about the crew, their service and attention to detail has been outstanding.
I am looking forward to a Manta encounter on our last day at San Benedicto tomorrow!
