This is my second trip to Socorro with Nautilus. This destination and dive operation is top shelf – excellent location and trip!
The mantas can distract from all the other great reef life, so be sure to look around. Schools of Jack, beautiful Trivoli, Moorish idols etc etc etc. There were always shark to be seen from schools of hammerheads at Roca Partida to many whitetip and silkys on most reefs. Do the night dive with silkys, it is a rare opportunity.
The topography below and above make Socorro a unique destination – away from it all!! The crew is truly exceptional, I cannot say enough about the quality of the entire team and how they work together to make you trip the very best it can be.
