Epic Diving at Socorro Island with Bottlenose Dolphins and More!

“I’ve been asked several times if I have a favourite place in the world to dive, and until now I didn’t, but now I have a favourite right here in Socorro.” These are the words of guest Ariana from Argentina after a dive in Roca O’Neal at Socorro with False Killer Whales, Bottlenose Dolphins, Mantas and Hammerheads. Hearing that is priceless, and make us happier day after day here in the Archipelago of Revillagigedo. It’s a privilege to dive with these animals, but also to be here with such special friends and crew of the Nautilus Belle Amie.

What a day at Socorro Island! Roca O’Neil was ROCKING! We had three Mantas (two chevrons and one black) playing around with the divers’ bubbles, six Bottlenose Dolphins smiling and making everyone spin around, not knowing where to look. On our second dive something that I will never forget happened: as soon as we dropped down we went through one of the arches, and just as we were coming out, all the dolphins, mantas and a curious hammerhead shark came by to see what was going on, all at the same time! It was EPIC! Thank you SOCORRO ISLANDS for another GREAT season! See you next year! Now ready for GUADALUPE GREAT WHITES!
