Hammerhead Sharks Patrolling the Dive Site

On the first day, there were sharks everywhere. I knew we would see sharks but I had no idea there would be that many. Absolutely everywhere; circling the cleaning station. There were two schools of hammerheads that marched around us like an army. My estimate is at least 20 different hammerhead sharks patrolling the dive site. They were awesome. We also saw whitetip, silvertip, Galapagos and oceanic blacktip sharks and a huge manta ray and a whale shark at the end. The dives today were incredible. If you are on the fence and like sharks, you should definitely go.

We didn’t come for the food but it’s been great. And the crew and dive guides are top notch. If you are on the fence about this trip, take it from me and just go. You won’t regret it. David is the Backscatter photographer onboard and he’s amazing and will give you tips to shoot like a pro.

If you are thinking about this trip, you are probably all about diving, and you are going to be surrounded by like minded divers, which is also awesome.
