Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea – 2022-01-01

Location: Leather Bass Alley

Weather: Clouded Skies, NE Wind (8kts), Calm seas

The day is cloudy we even had some drizzle this morning, the sun is trying to make its way thru but clouds are just too thick, our check out dive was conducted at the leather bass alley from the back deck, some guests had issues with their weight some using steel tanks for the first time so their weighs were off, it took a couple of minutes to get them going, right after that they made it down to find out some dolphins were playing around, this happened within three minutes of the guests being in the water.

After that there were some white tip sharks, a Galapagos shark, and loads of leather bass, the second dive was conducted at the canyon, guests came up yelling and screaming they were very happy as the canyon had schooling hammerheads, cleaning station was full of silvertip sharks, some silkies and lots of other fish.

Visibility: 50ft+
