Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea – 2022-01-25

Location: The Canyon

Weather: Clear Skies, NE Wind (4-6kts), NE Swell (2ft)

We had our check-out dive this morning, was a little bit calm but good. For the second dive, the action was good, we had black mantas, a school of hammerheads (around 30), Galapagos, silver tips, and some silky, guests got out of the water with a big smile, everybody was happy. The day couldn’t be any better, we just had a baby whale and its mom jumping and playing really close to our port side and our stern, guests are amazed, is an incredible experience for them, they are really happy. We are planning to do two more dives at the Canyon, stay for tonight have a nice dinner, and move tomorrow morning to the boiler.

Water temperature: 79°F

Visibility: 100ft+
