Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-03-08

Location: Cabo Pearce

Weather: Clear Skies, N Wind (18-20kts), Swell (4-6ft)

Yesterday we did Cabo Pearce, the third dive was a little quiet, just some white tips, jacks, reef fish, last dive much much better, mantas back for the last dive, around five mantas were there with our divers, two groups could see a school of hammerheads, some Galapagos and Silvertips. After the last dive, we moved to the navy base to do the check-in, everything was ok, then moved to Punta Tosca where we slept at anchor.

Today we dive in Punta Tosca, medium-strong current to the W, not much action this morning in Tosca, one turtle, lots of reef fish, some whitetips. Let’s see what is coming on the next dive, just right now our divers are doing the second dive of the day, hopefully, it will be better than the first one.

Water temperature: 75°F

Visibility: 80ft
