Read MoreYesterday we did Cabo Pearce, the third dive was a little quiet, just some white tips, jacks, reef fish, last dive much much better, mantas back for the last dive, around five mantas were there with our divers, two groups could see a school of hammerheads, some Galapagos and Silvertips. After the last dive, we moved to the navy base to do the check-in, everything was ok, then moved to Punta Tosca where we slept at anchor.

After a relatively calm navigation, we arrived at San Benedicto not knowing what to expect given the two hurricanes that hit the islands in two weeks. But everything was there just as we left it: a playful pod of dolphins, four mantas, some isolated hammerheads and Galapagos sharks to make a great start in Revillagigedo!
Read MoreFinally we went to a new site on the north east side of San Benedicto and found some interesting rock formations with lots of reef life and what appeared to be a moray eel the colour of a Clarion Angelfish. Definitely a place for further investigation. On the run home we came up with a list of possible names for the newly explored sites including Whale Sound, Booby Prize, The Act of Waiting on a Rock and Watching Barnacles although none have been adopted at this time. Maybe a few more dives on the sites will bring out the personality of the sites and the names will become obvious.
