We’ve been hearing about Socorro for years and were so excited to board our very first liveaboard. Not only did it meet our expectations, but it well surpassed them. On the very first day of diving we saw dozens of scalloped hammerheads, silky sharks, white tip sharks, silver tip sharks, Galapagos sharks, a juvenile tiger shark, massive chevron manta rays, a black manta ray, and more. We capped it off with a drink and the most stunning sunset I’ve ever seen – the sky was on fire! And we only shared this side of the island with a single other boat. As if that weren’t enough, the crew has gone above and beyond to make everything smooth, easy, safe, and fun. I cannot wait to take more trips with Nautilus!
