We have just finished our first day of diving in the sea of Cortez of this weeklong expedition on the nautilus explorer.
Today we stayed at Cerralvo island doing a check dive in the south of the island and spending the rest of the day at the famous La Reina dive site in the north of Cerralvo. The water was very clear and warm, 29 degrees Celcius, rash guard diving!!
The Diving was amazing today. 4 Dives (3 Wrecks & 1 Reef). A great amount of fish. Four dives and four Octopuses. Nice swim through on the wreck.
Looking forward to more EPIC diving tomorrow.
Sea lions plenty. Beautiful & relaxing dive through the arch and around the island. One of the best dives we have ever been on.

Read MoreThe canyon in La Reina was the most spectacular! We saw how a family of sea lions stayed on the bottom, just going up to breathe and resting on the sand! Very good photo ops!
