Excellent white shark diving this morning! Bruce showed up at 0640 and by 0730, we had 4 great white sharks off the boat. Lots of breaching going on today for some reason… One of the guests watched Bruce make a couple of passes by the cage and then go deep before turning around and flinging himself out of the water with 3 quick flips of his tail.
Read MoreWe saw 3 blue whales an hour ago!! Of course, we stopped and watched them for a while. I thought that 40-ton humpback whales were big but these guys are enormous. Their bodies just seemed to go on and on as they prepared to “tail fluke” and do their deep dives.

Read MoreOur new cages are working really well, and are far more stable than the ones we used last year. I’m really pleased with them. Sturdy gangplanks, DUI weight harnesses and 25ft whips on the 2nd stage regulators are all big improvements as well.
Read MoreCleared out of Ensenada last night on our first great white shark trip of the season. We are all very excited to get the cages in the water and starting diving tomorrow morning. The boys just finished cutting up tuna bait on the back deck and we have a 200 litre barrel full of lovely guts, blood and tuna gills ready to start scenting the water.
