I can’t say enough about this experience with Nautilus Liveaboards. From start to finish the experience has been incredible. The team is fantastic and they make you feel a part of the family. Truly grateful I could do the great white shark experience with a staff that really loves what they do. From the time we arrived at Guadalupe Island to the time we departed, each dive has become an experience that I don’t think I will ever forget. The divemaster’s were extremely helpful with not only getting in and out of the cages but providing a personal experience each time you get in. Pointing out sharks in the water, moving kindly so you can get the photos you are hoping for and assisting with any issues you may encounter during the adventure are only a few of the notable experiences we had while here.

From the initial embarkment to the departure home, all of the staff exhibited a professionalism unlike any other. To alleviate the trepidation of a first time diver utilizing a regulator, to doing everything possible to deliver the best experience possible – there is nothing that needs changed.

The Guadalupe Island shark excursion not only lived up to my high expectations, but it was easily the best vacation I have ever taken. Originally this was going to be a trip to celebrate my 40th birthday, doing something just for ME! But the best surprise of all was how much my 11-year-old son loved it.

Sharing the water with the sharks was a feeling that words cannot accurately describe. Every moment in the water is made even better by the great sense of safety that is maintained by the staff and safety protocols.

Fluid and enjoyable with an abundance of opportunities to observe the great white sharks in their natural habitat.
