Read MoreOn the second dive at The Canyon, we saw a big school of hammerhead sharks and a giant chevron manta that came to the middle of the group for a bubble bath. After it graced us with her presence, we turned around and a second school of hammerheads came to the cleaning station which gave us the chance for more pictures.
Read MoreThe next day, Roca Partida was full of life. It was rush hour for whitetip sharks, different kinds of jacks, wahoo and big yellowfin tunas and, of course, hammerhead sharks.
Read MoreThen out of the blue, three manta rays came by and gently placed their bellies over our stream of bubbles. What a privilege it is to be here interacting with nature in a place like this where sea creatures live in a place so remote that they seem to be equally excited to encounter humans once in a while.
Read Morehey were awesome. We also saw whitetip, silvertip, Galapagos and oceanic blacktip sharks and a huge manta ray and a whale shark at the end.
Read MoreEarly in our dive appeared our first chevron manta ray. Positioned close to the surface, we watched its silhouette in the morning sun above. After about five minutes, it decided to move on and swim out into the blue to explore other areas of the dive site and so did we.
