This is my 4th time visiting this magical group of islands and I have never been disappointed with the diving here. I have seen playful dolphins, whale sharks, giant Mantas, a variety of sharks and many other animals that constantly amaze me. There is no other place on earth like this. My experiences on the Nautilus Explorer have also been memorable.

The first dive of the day was at The Boiler. Two huge manta rays joined us, circling throughout the dive. They were very obliging and seemed to be taking turns visiting each diver and making sure that everyone got the perfect picture!

Everything was handled smoothly, even when one of our group forgot his mask. Rather than miss the dive, another skiff ran back to the Undersea Hunter and brought out his mask while we idled in the calmer waters behind the rocks. That is great customer services…

Not only did we see our first hammerhead shark, dancing mantas, but also dolphins! The experience so far with the Nautilus has been incredible! We’ve been on many dive trips before but nothing compares to the experience we’ve had thus far. There is nothing like the giant manta experience here – they get close enough you can see the curiosity in their eyes and swim around and around all of the divers…

Today we dove with “Manta” Rey at Roca Partida, Socorro Island. We saw many Hammerhead Sharks, White Tips, several Manta Rays, a Galapagos Shark, a Yellow Fin Tuna, a Moray Eel.
The weather hasn’t always cooperated but the crew has kept everyone safe and happy on this trip.
I am travelling with two friends that travelled with me two years ago to see the Great White Sharks. We always enjoy the hospitality we receive from Nautilus Liveaboards.

This afternoon’s dive featured a pair of friendly dolphins. These were big, battle scarred, ocean going dolphins, who chose to come and swim with us, circling round and round and putting a smile on everyone’s faces.
We have seen mantas and reef sharks on nearly every dive at San Benedicto and Socorro islands, with occasional sightings of schools of hammerheads out into the blue.

It’s been 6 months since the last dive I had. As a beginner diver I thought it would been harder than the last one, but thanks to Mario it was much easier. I beat my personal record under the water 47 minutes!! I couldn’t be more happy. Thank you Mario for making it possible. I’m ready for the next one!!!
