In all, the divers have loved their first morning. We plan for two more dives here this afternoon and then we’ll have taco night on the top deck before moving to anchor overnight at the boiler, where we will dive tomorrow.

Read Moreight off the boat, we saw the silhouette of a manta in the distance. Shortly after, we heard high-pitched noises around us, and three dolphins swam right through our dive group!
Read MoreYesterday we finished the day with two good dives at the Canyon, still nice and sharky, and a couple of mantas around down there as well. At the end of the day, we had taco night on the top deck and spent the night anchored at the south end of San Benedicto, moving up to the Boiler this morning.
Read MoreSo far we have dived 2 times and they were pretty good dives, on both dives guests did see at least four different mantas, white tips, silver tips, lots and lots of jacks, some tuna hunting, but the superstar of the morning was a big whale shark!
Read MoreWe completed two more dives yesterday afternoon at the canyon. There were mantas, silvertips and hammerheads spotted on both dives. All the guests enjoyed themselves greatly and it made a wonderful first day. We finished up with our taco night on the top deck. Most excellent. After dinner we moved and anchored up at the Boiler. We had a pleasant night on the hook.
Read MoreThe second dive was at the canyon itself and conditions were great, with good visibility and mild current plus lots of sharks, silver tips, whitetips, Galapagos, and a school of 12+ hammerheads all in the area around the transmitter. Plus two black mantas to round out the experience.
Read MoreWe dropped into the blue next to the boiler and our dolphin friends joined us for a dance. The humpback song became the background music of our dive filled with dancing dolphins and even a few mantas graced us with their presence.
